Increased hours of operation and increased capacity will allow us to see clients sooner and at their convenience (evenings, Fridays, etc.), reducing the chance that they will seek assistance elsewhere. We would like to hire two part-time staff to expand our hours and capacity for a trial period of the next 3 years. Starting the expanded hours as soon as possible will allow us to see more clients and reach more abortion-vulnerable women in the community. This will develop for Safe Harbor a reputation of availability and readiness to assist in all matters of unplanned pregnancy, establishing Safe Harbor as the primary resource for pregnancy counseling in the Pensacola community for years to come.
Equip The Mission
Ultrasound is one of our most important tools for revealing the truth about the life growing inside our clients. We would like to obtain a second machine that uses more modern ultrasound technology; this tool would be able to produce vivid images that will have a powerful impact on our more abortion-minded clients. Particularly in the case of clients that are still early in pregnancy, there will be drastic improvement. The importance of a clear and vivid image cannot be overstated when it comes to the impact that it will make on the abortion-minded individual.
Sustain The Ministry
Currently our single largest operating cost other than payroll is the monthly mortgage payment for our building. Retiring this debt would ensure the sustainability of the ministry and allow us to put those funds towards rescuing more lives. Additionally, it is vitally important to our vision of expanded services. The expanded service mission for this campaign can only be sustained beyond the 3-year period if this building-payoff goal is accomplished. By the end of this 3-year campaign, the expanded service 3-year trial period will be complete. If the building is paid off by this time, the monthly building payment can be applied directly to the expanded service cost, sustaining it indefinitely.
