Meet Jasmine, a 17-year-old from the heart of Highland Park who joined our youth leadership program last year feeling uncertain about her future. Today, Jasmine has launched a community clean-up initiative, spoken at two neighborhood council meetings, and is mentoring younger students in her school. She credits the KIWANIS CLUB OF GREATER HIGHLAND PARK FOUNDATION with helping her find her voice — not by giving it to her, but by creating a space where she felt safe enough to use it.
